Ross Wall

Ross has lived and worked extensively across Asia, EMEA (Europe Middle East and Africa) and the United States as a consultant, Executive Director, Business Owner and Author.

He began his career as a management consultant focusing on post-merger integration – partnering with the CEOs, Executives and Boards of some of the world’s largest Companies.   His work predominantly involved optimizing the structural, economic and behavioural alignment of Divisional Heads, Managing Directors and Key Executives in an effort to improve organizational performance and enhance financial returns.

After a decade consulting, he joined South Africa’s largest healthcare provider as a key member of the turnaround team.  His responsibilities as an Executive Board Director included Human Resources, Marketing, Communications and the Group Shared Services Function, in addition to designing and leading a cultural change project.

Following the successful turnaround of Medscheme, Ross was then appointed CEO of a US-based technology company Intellisum, which was in dire need of a pivot.  Despite punitive levels of debt, he unencumbered the assets, retained the employee base, and negotiated an attractive exit less than 24 months after his appointment, retaining a 49% equity interest for shareholders.

He then began the initial framing of and co-authored the case study driven book: ‘ The Four Dilemmas of the CEO’.  He actively coaches and mentors’ companies, CEOs and Boards.  He is a regular speaker on the results and findings of the book.

Family, sports, outdoors, reading and voluntary work are some of Ross’ main interests.
